Pregnancy, Postpartum & Motherhood Psychotherapist
I’m on a mission to empower mothers and remind them how important it is to nurture and care for themselves as well as their children. Focussing on mental health and wellbeing, I support mums and mums-to-be on their journey to and through motherhood.
Whether it’s your first time or your fifth, bringing a baby into the world is a huge transition. Yes, it’s precious and beautiful, but it can be overwhelming and utterly soul-destroying at times. Wherever you are on your journey, and whatever you’re dealing with, I’m here to guide you through these feelings and out the other side.
I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing Therapy, and Schema Therapy, in-person and remotely via Microsoft Teams. All sessions are baby friendly. It’s important you feel safe and at ease, so you’re welcome to attend alone or bring your little one along. You’ll find there’s ample space in my therapy room to feed and change them if necessary.

What my clients say...
Laura was friendly and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable in our sessions to open up about my problems. She listened to me and validated my feelings. I wouldn't say I am completely recovered but I know what I need to do to keep moving forward.
Laura has been great to work with and has helped me gain control of my problem with worry. I would recommend working with her if you worry too much.
I realised I was suffering from Postnatal Depression and needed some help. I was always thinking negatively about myself and I wasn't enjoying my maternity leave. Laura has helped me learn to be kinder to myself and I feel better.
